Ruts can be good... as can be anchovies.

It's official. I may be stuck in a style rut.

Oh, it happens to the best of us, I know, but in this case, I don't know if I even want to be out of my rut, for you see, I've grown rather fond of my standard dress/ tights/ belt/ cardigan combination. Last winter, I lived in boring old jeans and long sleeved American Apparel thermals. This is a welcome change, even if I'm simply doing variations on the same theme. Oh! And ta-da! This is my beloved Jovovich-Hawk dress I scored at Saturday's Rock 'n Swap. It's a size 13, but since it has a belt that ties in the back, I took a chance on it. Golly, I'm glad I did:

Even though I may be stuck in a self-imposed style rut, I am feeling a bit more adventurous in my pizza toppings! Hubs took me on an impromptu date to Mangia's. I love, love, love salty food, and I've been told on several occasions that I would like anchovies, but the mere thought of them grossed me out (all those little legs! Gross!). I finally decided to throw caution to the wind and ordered an anchovy, pineapple, pepperoni, green pepper, and jalapeno pizza. I know, I know. ANCHOVIES?! PINEAPPLES?! TOGETHER?! Sick! ... No, not sick! This is one of the few cases where two wrongs DO make a right. Seriously. Just like my dress/ tights/ belt/ cardigan thing is my new favorite style combo, the anchovy/ pineapple/ jalapeno thing is my new favorite pizza topping combination. Pretty sure I'm going to like being stuck in this flavor rut!
