Just so you know, there were innumerable fashionable people there. This is no lie: there wasn't anyone there at all who was uncute! Since there was so much to do, I snapped a couple photos in line before the party got started:These ladies were in line in front of me:
occupation: student
dress: American Apparel
bag: World Market
sandals: Nomi
ceramic bird earrings: gifted
name: Carmen (right)
occupation: student
dress: Old Navy ("On sale now!")
bag: Old Navy (2002-ish)
sandals: Clark
vintage inspired enamel earrings: gifted
This spunky bird was in line behind me:
name: Giselle
occupation: owner of The Good Shoppe (vintage paper goods) and Forward Collective.
dress: Cream Vintage
bag: thrifted
feather earrings: Buffalo Exchange
When I got inside, I immediately tried a strawberry cake sample from Blue Note Bakery, grabbed a bottle of Sweet Leaf Tea, and headed to The WonderCraft crafting area. (I made a cowl scarf, which I'll photo later today). It started to rain, and the outside crowd poured into the inside, making a nice, moist crowd of crafty fashionistas. My group decided to come back to my place to play Wii, so we said our good-byes and left... ellusive swag bags in hand!
On the way out, I was able to meet Candace from Electric Promotions, the Super Girl behind the entire shebang:
Isn't that a lovely color on her? The dress was bought at a boutique in San Antionio.
Thanks, Candace for throwing such a freaking sweet party!
